It took quite a bit of perseverance to sew up and pad the more complicated models, but it is not impossible!
The yellow is 4 ply equivalent cotton and the edge was made in blue sewing machine cotton.

I followed the pattern, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to sew it into the seashell shape. Any chance you could post a video, or detailed pictures?
ReplyDeletejust fold it in half and sew along the frill - begin at the open end; pad along the way. Later I have made a different pattern which needs to be sewn up from the tip, in a spiral. Recently I published an index of all posts from the beginning. Some of these have photos of how to sew up.
