Are we nearing the singularity, the point where philosophers say the computer programs we create will be smarter than us?

Artificial intelligence is all around us. In phones, in cars, in our homes. Voice recognition systems, predicative algorithms, GPS. Sometimes they may not work very well, but they are improving all the time, you might even say they are learning. 

Come on an entertaining journey through the ethics of artificial intelligence or AI, the science behind intelligent computer programs and robotics. Some software engineers think about the philosophy of the artificial intelligence they are creating, others really don't care.

I have a Theory.
Humans are making robots so lifelike, with DNA etc, and smarter than us.  Imagine that these hubots have evolved to be able in future to travel in time and dimensions.  Quite possibly humans might not survive in the future.  The robots could have been made of nanocarbon and indestructible.  They come from the future to Warn Us.  Maybe they are unhappy and wish us to rethink our Ways.......especially if they are part human and suffering.       Then again,  the Japanese consider all to be Kami,  divine,  and are on friendly terms with the idea and reality of robots=   heard on abc radio national.....

I have mentioned such an idea briefly in a previous post -  was it parallel universes of 7/20/2011?
Plus the Singularity  ...to do with robots.......come from black holes......
( fibonacci series has zero which is the singularity)

What is important is what we do not do.   
What if we chose not to make such robots?
The singularity is NOW - It is between the past and the future. 
If we choose not to do what is possibly dangerous then we might alter the possible future-   and the past! 

 There is a Facebook page and website  Stop Killer Robots.  As usual there are some countries and people who want to make killer robots,  no matter how much suffering might ensue to innocent Beings.  How will  it all end?

 It is said that some are capable of doing harm,  but they choose not to do that.  Wise Ones.

Curious that some humans cannot trust others and use weapons for defence.  China has a hypersonic missile.  Russia, India and US are working on it.  I wonder is it plasma.......

There is an idea that the Universe has other ideas,  to save this suffering humanity,  with Love.  The Guardians of our Universe are maybe working very hard!

Some mention was made to me that Battlestar Galactica has such a theme!  Thus it might be nothng new...

Star Wars.  Even Luke Starwalker's father had a Dark problem-  was he traumatised beyond endurance at some early stage of his life?  I have long pondered on the conditions predisposing us to Trouble.  I feel it can be that the Sinners have already been sinned agianst.  Or there may have been a huge Cosmic catastrophe after which those touched by it have to fight unfairly just to exist......Again,  nothing new.  I have read of such.    Welshman, Chris Thomas    can read the Akashic Records ----hear him on YouTube.....

or-   What if engineers in our Present Time make indestructible robots out of nano carbon, with Human DNA,  and they can't die,  but we all die from world chemical pollution.  If they can't die, but suffer badly,  they might come from the future to get rid of us all in the Present, so that they can die and not have to suffer interminably!  I can't help but voice this scenarioabout robots.
Something is going on,  so that we are all colluding to allow the pollution of our Planet as if we don't know or care.  There are various reasons why possibly so.  I talk about this in my blog A Colourful Post which hardly anyone reads, yet.
Laura Magdalene Eisenhower on YouTube speaks about certain Cosmic Matters....she says our Higher Consciousness will win.
 Chris Thomas says the Velon want our planet -  according to the Akashic Records, it has been going on for a long time.  Our job is to connect with our own Higher Selves.

Some are giving up on Planet Earth, wanting us to go to the 5th dimension!  Expect aliens to save us!
I don't necessarily agree...anything could be true....However Anastasia of the Ringing Cedars says that the Earth is meant to live forever and it is Love that will save Her.  She speaks of America's Radiant Future which is all to do with growing gardens-  the inheritors of the financial world may have some epiphany to make them work for good!....It is a belief idea that I can wish to happen.  And Intention is Everything.  Our consciousnesses,  of all of us together,  may save the day,  and pave a radiant Future for good old Third Dimension.  We shall see.  Tings look bleak and even terrifying,  but that might provoke us in the most powerful if terrible way To Do Wonderful.

The Latest Seashell Model **

Long time no postings -  excuse is I have had to extensively repair holes in my caravan after the visit of a big brown snake with a black head, inside chasing a mouse 8th Feb 2014!  Not every day does one have such an excuse.

So I was excited to sit down and begin to crochet another new model.  I did it the hard way -  first row with right hand;  second and alternate rows with the left hand, without turning.   You can do it the usual way, using only one hand to work the yarn;  it makes a ridge.  I wanted an even surface on the outside.  Well,  as you can see,  it is not a perfect model,  but it looks a little bit like the shell on the cover of Barry Wilson's book:-

It began with 8 stitches,  to 13,  to 21,  to 34,  to 55,  all with 4 rows between;
to 89  repeated for 12 rows,  then 55,  then 34..
You can see the LHS is wider-  I used 2 strands of "2 ply"cotton  for 5 stitches all along the edge,  and at the beginning; (the oldest part of the shell becomes thicker, with time....)  the middle has 1 strand of 2 ply.
The RHS has "1 ply" equivalent ( candlewick cotton).
I had to stitch the top rhs corner so all lines come together at the tip
The rhs curls under to form a right hand spiral which is usual in Nature.  Left hand spirals do exist but they are rare-  maybe in another dimension or universe the rule may be left hand.....

I have  drawn in the join lines....a 377 model might be better.... or an even bigger one!

When sewing the 34 row to under the last 89 row I used a knitting needle or skewer to hold the piece (like an extra finger) so that I could stitch the 34 row almost from underneath.  I shall have to do a drawing to describe the top ......it needs more study.

Maybe the first rows might be better with only 2 rows between them.  I supported these models on a Japanese pillow filled with buckwheat = like a beanbag.  I shall make some more small beanbags because these models tend to topple over on flat surfaces.  The author, Aydin Orstan, of www.snailstales.blogspot.com  uses plasticine to hold up his real snail specimen shells.

Here is my own drawing of "Vitruvius Man"

This simple drawing is made with reference to Leonardo’s original, which can be seen on Google Images and on Wikipedia,  etc.

In 1498 Leonardo da Vinci drew the “Vitruvian Man” – a swarthy angry looking man, spread-eagled, to show human proportions.

Vitruvius was a first century Roman architect who believed the proportions and measurements of the human body, which was divinely created, were perfect and correct.  Therefore he proposed that the dimensions of a temple should also relate similarly.

I noticed on google images my pic above has a chakra missing!    blue throat chakra.  Heart is green.

and I promised to discuss more.   I hope one day it might be added to - when priorities are seen to and completed.   Always a lot to do.  Now it is CO2  I am grappling with the notion that we have all been hypnotised into believing a lie!      At 0.04% of atmosphere, CO2 is very low,  just rising after the last ice ages.  If it drops to 0.015% then all plants will die.  Interestingly, the Keeling Curve is still going up, even with global lockdown   2020,   and I am shivering in our inland winter months.   So much for global warming!
